Again, I didn't think I would participate this week but I had a strong feeling that I MUST do this, as a way to convey my gratitude to all the beautiful hearted people out there even to some strangers that responded to my posting 2 days ago. My little boy is now home and I strongly believe that God had did wonders on him, He had listen to all the prayers lifted up from all over the world for our Alex. I posted about his condition on Wednesday evening and yesterday a nurse told me that he looks like a completely different boy compare to the first time we brought him to the ER and the first 48 hours after he was admitted. He was diagnosed with Bronchiolitis. Everything escalated so fast from the first time he got the symptoms. Monday morning he had a runny nose and I thought he’s just catching a cold, he have no fever and was still acting normally, on Tuesday morning however, he woke up then start coughing but still no fever. Tuesday night he started wheezing so badly that’s when we decided to took him to the ER. They found out that his oxygen level was low and the ER doctor first told us from the look on his X-rays that he has a viral pneumonia thus needed to be admitted immediately. It was the worst & scarriest 3 days of our lives. Seeing your baby suffered is just beyond explanations, the helplessness eat you up inside, I wish I could trade place with him and be the one who got prodded and hooked up to all kinds of machines. He was traumatize by the experience from the ER to the room that he’d start screaming whenever a nurse or a doctor came by to check on him. Poor thing! Our pediatrician Dr. Head told us last night that he doesn’t have the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) which is a huge relief to know. His sudden illness might be caused by the fact that he was born prematurely & had problem breathing right after he was born or from the on going flu season. Anyway, what happened had strongly sealed my faith that God is there and most importantly He listens! Through His INFINITE love, He answers the prayers, hope & faith! PS: The candle picture was taken with my Sony Cybershot DSC-W55 in my bathroom about 2 months ago & edited with photoshop to add the scripture. (The eagle picture is not mine, I found it online)

 | Somewhere I read about God: He is smaller than the smallest, larger than the largest. heavier than the heaviest, lighter than the lightest. He is there everywhere from zero to the infinite. He will respond to a mother's request. |
 | I am sorry to hear that you and your son went through this scary moment in life. My twins have a tough time, in the fall/winter with bronchiolitis, croup and asthma. It is sooooo scary when your child has difficulty breathing. As mother, your heart just aches at the thought that no amount of hugs or kisses will make it better. Thankfully, there are people and medication who can. I am glad that he is home with you now. Thank you for visiting my page: http://mob2007.multiply.com/journal/item/688/Picture_Perfect_Theme_Infinite |
