I really don't have the 'right' picture for PPF but I did find these pictures to fit what our host had picked for this week's theme. These were taken by my husband's family with a regular camera I think and I scanned it awhile ago & do some touch ups using Photoshop since some of the pictures are over 20 years old and some are in poor condition. I hope that I'm not breaking the rules too much (I do apologize Heather!)
My husband has always been interested in horses. He got his first pony when he’s 9 years old. He loves everything about them…even the smell of them. To pursue his passion, he enrolled in Meredith Manor School of Horsemanship in Parkersburg, West Virginia. It was there that he learned dressage, a style of riding that teaches riders the art of guiding horses through difficult exhibition movements with barely visible commands, such as pressure with the knees. From there, The Royal Lipizzan Stallions Show was his ‘life’ for a couple of years. For more pictures you can see it in my photo album here. |

and I just had to add this one last picture taken by a professional photographer (my husband can't remember exactly the name)

I found the "MOVEMENTS" of these horses to be amazing, I never thought these big animals could move in such harmony & elegance.
