Blog Entry~ PPF: Deliciously Twisted ~ Jun 26, '08 4:06 AM
for everyone

Heather had chosen quite a challenging theme this week with the word 'twisted'. As I walk around my mother's house I found this on the kitchen table:

Taken with Rebel XTi. Edited in PS CS3

This is something that Indonesians (and mostly Asians) are familiar with, it called Kerupuk (Cracker). Indonesians loves their kerupuk and living in the States for awhile, it's pretty hard to find these specific kinds of kerupuk. They're very crunchy, delicious and this one is made out of tapioca starch and other ingredients I do not know. Most people eat them with their main meals something like a condiment (I think!) but some people (like my hubby) will eat them as a snack, especially those Kerupuk Udang (Shrimp Crackers) LOL.

Thanks for visiting my page.
I don't have the recipe but you can easily find a different kinds of these crackers online such as this one http://indomerchant.com/nysiokcrackers.html All you have to do is deep fry them and it's very easy to make. The shrimp crackers is a favorite in my family who never even try them before LOL.
