I don’t know why but I’ve spent most of my ‘free’ time (read: Alex’s morning nap time) today searching on Friendster for my old friends from college. There's gotta be something in the air today eh? I found some familiar faces that I haven’t seen in almost 10 years but to my disappointment I couldn’t find the girls that were my closest friends. Gees…have it been that long? It sure doesn’t feel that way.
Thinking back of those good ol’ days put smiles on my face. Since I went to Interstudy and majoring in Public Relation we had a very high female populated campus LOL. I still clearly remember when our campus was still in the tiny building of Jalan Sunda, next to Sarinah Thamrin. Somewhere, I still have those pictures of us hanging out at Wati’s little kaki lima shop under her bright colorful beach umbrella. She was one of us, we literally ‘used’ her as a voice mail sometimes LOL.
God only knows where my girls are today. Those college days were so memorable because coming out of strict high school (read: Catholic!), college era translate into one word: FREEDOM! Parties, clubbing, skipping classes…you name it (I know I wasn’t exactly a straight A’s student back then). We had so much fun and that’s why I can’t forget those times.
I hope I could ‘trace’ down some of my girlfriends.
